Annie Leibovitz Famous photographer Annie Leibovitz was well known for her redesign of the rock magazine Rolling Stone and work at the Vanity fair alongside galleries she produced in her later years. At the start of her life she didn't have the intentions of being a photographer she went to San Francisco Art University to study, and found a love for photography. During her time, beginning in 1970, Leibovitz started as a photographer at Rolling Stone she worked her way onto becoming the editor and chief and created a new and distinctive look for the magazine. This included bold looks and photographs of famous rock artists in new poses not done before. She left Rolling Stone in 1983 venturing onto work with Vanity Fair. Here she was able to take photos for a different range of people. Instead of just the rock and roll artists she was working with at Rolling Stone, she was able to photograph political events, movie actors, and exciting wordily news. Her passion for photography co
